REGISTRATION PROCESS
JOIN THE CONTACT LIST
Families interested in enrolling their child at Highlands Early Learning Centre are encouraged to join our Contact List by clicking the Contact List button on our website.

When spaces become available, our Registrar will contact families on the Contact List with information about the next steps.

Joining the Contact List does not guarantee a space, but ensures we can reach out when openings arise.

OFFER OF SPACE
When a space becomes available in one of our programs, families will receive an Offer of Space email from our Registrar with instructions on completing the online registration through Kindertales, our childcare management system.
Families will also be asked to review the HELC Handbook of Information & Policies prior to confirming enrollment.
CONFIRMING OF ENROLLMENT
To confirm enrollment, a Class Security Deposit is required:
2-Year-Old Classes
A deposit equal to one month’s tuition is required. This deposit will be applied to June tuition if the preschool year is completed.
3- and 4-Year-Old Classes
A $200 deposit is required.
* All deposits are processed through Kindertales pre-authorized debit.
SOCIETY MEMEBERSHIP FEE
Highlands Early Learning Centre operates as a registered non-profit society.
Each family is required to pay an annual Society Membership Fee of $150, which supports the governance and administrative operations of the preschool.
This fee is separate from tuition and deposits.
TUITION PAYMENTS
HELC uses Kindertales to manage tuition billing and payments.

Tuition payments are automatically processed on the 1st of each month.

Families must maintain an active Kindertales account with up-to-date payment information.

A $10 NSF fee applies to payments returned due to insufficient funds.
WITHDRAWAL POLICY
If you need to withdraw your child from the program, one full calendar month written notice is required.
Notice must be submitted by the 1st day of the month prior to the withdrawal month.

AFFORDABLE CHILD CARE BENEFIT
