REGULAR REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
STEP 1
For both immediate and September enrollment, kindly include your child's name in our online Pre-registration List. For immediate enrollment inquiries, you may also contact us at registrar@highlandsELC.ca to inquire about any available current vacancies.
STEP 2
Upon the offer of a space in one of our programs, you will receive detailed instructions on completing the online Registration Application. Additionally, a non-refundable Application processing fee of $125 per child will be required, and you will be prompted to review and confirm your understanding of the HELC Tuition Policy.
STEP 3
To secure your child/children's enrollment at Highlands Early Learning Centre, following receipt of the Offer Letter email from our Registrar, please adhere to the following guidelines:

For 2-year-old classes: A non-refundable security deposit equivalent to one month's regular tuition is required and will be processed through Kindertales pre authorized debit.

For 3 & 4-year-old classes: A $200 deposit is required and will be processed through Kindertales pre authorized debit.
TUITION PAYMENTS
Starting January 2025, Highlands Early Learning Centre will use Kindertales, our new management system, for tuition billing and payment processing.

Parents are required to create an account on Kindertales and enter all necessary information, including payment details for direct debit withdrawal.

Tuition payments will be automatically processed on the 1st of each month.

A $10 NSF fee will be charged for any payments that cannot be processed due to insufficient funds.
EARLY WITHDRAWAL
If, for any reason, you need to withdraw your child from Highlands Early Learning Centre prior to July 31, the security deposit paid upon registration will be forfeited and therefore non-refundable, if your child’s class is not part of $10 A Day ChildCareBC Program.
For all withdrawals from and including August 1, Highlands Early Learning Centre requires one full calendar month’s written notice (the “Notice Period”) to be received by the 1st day of the month preceding the month of withdrawal (the “Notice Requirement”). Tuition is payable and will be charged during the Notice Period; however, your child is still enrolled and is welcome to attend preschool during the Notice Period.
